Domesticated cultivation began, spreading to every household. Walnuts became a key trade commodity along the ancient Tea Horse Road.
1979–2010
Modern Recognition
Named a first-class superior variety in 1979. Awarded "China's Top 10 Premium Walnuts" in 2009 and "China's Walnut Homeland" in 2010.
